I got on a couple of the birds in the same spot I heard a few yesterday. I had them within 150 yards for 3 hours, within 100 for over an hour, but never closer than 70. Heard em gobble probably 300 times, and I have no clue why I didn't end up killing one. Thats turkey hunting I guess. Some days an old smart bird just doesn't feel like dying.
