I guess it's my crimson tide blood in me but I've never had a strong liking for Peyton. He's a HOF QB without a doubt but in my opinion he's come up short quite a bit in big games, both in college and pro.IMO he's had the talent around to probably have 5-6 rings and more rings in college too.On my list of All-timers he probably falls to the later side of the top 10.Regardless I hate to see his career ending, but a great way to leave.

Interested to see what he choses to do next. I'd listen into a broadcast or television segment. I DONT want him at UT. I don't think they'd pay him enough but his love of UT worries me.

That speech was awesome I thought. He'd be the only broadcaster I'd actually listen to

I hope he's on the sideline again next year to get to see 10 in a row.

Manning's gonna do a 2016 version of the old Coppertone Tanning commercial where the little girls bottoms are pulled down by a dog.

He'd make a hell of a qb coach in Oxford. As much money as Ole Miss is throwing around, you'd think we could afford Peyton for a couple of years grin

I hope he sits out a couple of years and then buys part of or gets into management with the Titans. With Mariota, now getting the RB from Philly, and some other good picks they're setting up for a better future. Those dipknobs in Cleveland probably could use Manning's smarts but he's smart enough to steer clear of that train wreck.

Titans dropped the ball when they didn't trade everything to get him out of college. I think that was the year they moved.

Why the hell would he come back to Tennessee to coach NFL? That makes no sense to me. If he goes NFL then NO would be the obvious choice. He loves the college game - more than the league. I see him back at UT. I hate that too because he is such a football smart guy. I know he'll be able to coach 'em up and his name will get big time recruits.

I just hate UT. Lately they've been irrelevant but they are basically a sleeping giant in a weak ass division of the SEC. It isn't hard to get to the SECCG in the East.

I really hope he becomes a commentator. If he can remove the 'ums' he'll be a good one.

I can't see him coaching, he loves money and has made a pile of it with the contracts and his investments. If he returns to football I think it will be as a pro team owner or investor.

It isn't fresh but, I remember it. What is fresh is watch the last 9 times they played. It is especially fun when we are in Knoxville. The fans have become so sad and accommodating. Very time we are there now, they are all talking about how bad they are going to get beat.

Last year was the first time since Kiffin was coach that Tennessee actually put up a fight. All those other years they just laid there and bit the pillow and took it.
