I've been working since 16, so 26 years. Other than being fired or laid off, my senior year of college is the only time I haven't had a full time job for more than 3 months.

Best job ever was working at the RTJ golf course in college. Man, that was awesome cutting greens, raking bunkers, laying sod all day. Talk about a job that makes you feel good, but didn't pay enough to eat on.

I think we're all taught and brainwashed that work is our top priority, but just about every man that dies on hospice regrets spending 99.9% of his life working. BUT, we live in Merica, and that's what we're raised to do, and all we know from the time we're old enough to understand what work is.

Started working when I was in the 4th grade at one of my grandfather's businesses. 48 now and have never not had a job since then.

Recently had a new helper start at work that is 19. All I can say is God help us in the future. Kids these days are so stinkin lazy!!
