Some Primos, Simmons, and a couple of others seem to be the same camera with different names on them. I have the Simmons and they have held up better than any others I have owned. And they are cheapest ones I've had. Maybe I just got good ones.

A couple of things to consider: Basically you're putting a computer out in the weather. IMO they all will eventually give you problems. I look at them as disposable like a BIC lighter. When it's gone, it's gone. So, how much do you want to spend on something disposable? Next is theft. I just ordered some off Ebay (New Primos's) for $30/camera with free shipping. These cameras are going to have one purpose: catching people. Some may get stolen. How much are you willing to spend on something that may be stolen?

Without malfunction and theft, spend as much on a camera as a rifle because a good rifle can last MANY years. But there is going to be a malfunction or theft.
