DoeNut OP 8 point Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 1,597 Eclectic	Im in need of a safe to hold two ARs, a home defense shotgun and a scoped rifle. A shelf or two for other stuff wouldn't hurt. Not looking to spend a ton of money but hoping someone has one available after upgrading to a monster. This isn't a budgeted purchase and if I don't find a great deal then I will save for it and go a little more expensive. I have looked at the Liberty (12 gun) for $399 at Walter Craig. I haven't looked at TSC yet but have contacted safeman. He recommended the Black Diamond 5924 but it is far away and more than I would like to spend.

If you are looking for legit burglary prevention and fire protection, you will need to spend substantially more. I have had several different safes and would highly recommend saving and purchasing a Sturdy safe. For the money, its hard to beat.

On the rare occasion that we all go out of town then we store them at my inlaws. I would still rather have a safe than a metal cabinet but I realize that it will not withstand a real intruder.
