Sounds good.

Bacon comes from pork bellies. Turkey bacon is bad, I can't imagine deer bacon would be any better.

Googled it and watched a You Tube video. Not sure I would classify it as bacon, but it looks and sounds good.

Bacon burger is very good. My bro in law got me to try some and I loved it. I had 5lbs made from my last deer this season. Would have got more but it's a little pricey.

I been trying to eat a little better and tried turkey bacon. Holy chit. I will never cheat on regular bacon like that ever again.

I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

Used to have it done at Carl's in Loxley. The flavor was very good, but nothing like bacon. Looked a little like compressed spam. Very good on a BLT.

In a nutshell, they mix ground deer with ground pork and add seasoning and cure. They then pack in in loaves and smoke them and slice it so it has the shape of a slice of bacon. Like I said, it is a stretch to call it bacon, but it does look good. I'd eat it.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I would imagine it to be the texture that you get using a jerky shooter just fattier? If so I'm out.

It is more like the consistency of spam but a little denser. I have some made every year at a place in Lamar Co it is good on the grill and makes a good sandwich with lettuce tomato and some mayo.
