My dad was hunting a hardwood flat this year close to the property line but well away to be legal of the neighbors sweet tater pile. There was a beat down trail coming from our swamp thicket to there bait and he was intercepting them. One morning as daylight broke he seen the glowing orange of a tater 50 yards from his stand that the coons or deer had dragged his way. Guess what morning the warden showed up for the first time in 15 years of having the lease. He gave him a ticket for a single half eaten tater even after he showed him where it came from. He took it to court and won but still had to pay court costs. This was during bow season too so if he was gonna use a single tater he would have put it closer
