My wife's grandfather has found a bunch of bullets and buttons from the civil war on our property. I keep telling myself I'm gonna order one but still haven't done it.

Story goes the previous owners had a lot of money and buried most of it, I've dug around a huge old oak I was told was a popular place with no luck,.. when I say they buried most of it, what I mean is whoever finds it will be set for awhile..I found some paper money hidden under the roll in insulation in the attic, so I don't doubt some is buried in the yard somewhwre

Wouldn't mind going sometime. It'll be a few months before I have time though.

I run a Garrett ATPro, Minelab Etrac, XP Deus, or Whites TDI SL.....depending on what I'm after. That TDI is a pulse induction unit and it goes deeeeeep. I'm talking bread tie at a foot kinda deep.

Steelman, we talked about going last year but never did. Let me know when you want to go. I live in Semmes. I use an Etrac detector most of the time.

Slipping, if you want to go detecting some time, let me know. I usually go a couple times every week. I used to relic hunt but now mainly coin shoot.

I got a nephew that has turned about 20 acres behind my house, the past few months. He has found all kind of ole tools but no silver or gold his grand pa told him it was gold and silver out there somewhere and he's 18 and believes everything he tells him. But the bad thing about it is he's been lying to the poor feller his whole life!!!

I have a White's XLT that I really need to get back into detecting with. Never found much but enjoy the hunt.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

What would be one of the better metal detectors that could pick up coins in a plastic piggy bank buried about the length of a 12-13 year olds arm (18" or so)?
