That 45/70 dropped in in his tracks! Still in the grass! Usually it does. Believe it or not this buck was tough. It knocked him off his feet, but he was able to get back up and make it about 10 ft. That was the furthest any deer I have shot has made it after gettin hit by the 45-70.
