Matt, Don't pay this Downer idiot any attention. His drivel is not even worth responding to. There are many of us on here that may not post much, but we enjoy your (and some others) intelligent input.
As far as the shot goes, there's nothing to defend. A ham shot with a rifle or bow (even if it don't hit bone) will generally result in a dead deer within 100 yds and a blood trail Ray Charles could follow. Folks that can't grasp that just need more experience shooting deer. This shot probably could't be duplicated in 1,000 try's that would result in a deer traveling that far.
