Small bucks only cruising on our place in Lowndes. Most buck activity on my cameras are still at night. The big boys are still a couple weeks out from getting started. The most "chasing" I saw last year was on Feb. 4th.

I saw a big cowhorn spike chasing a doe yesterday afternoon. Nose to ground, grunting and about 5 min behind her.

I saw 9 different bucks a week ago. Seen some fresh scrapes last weekend. Wish it would have stayed cool. You may miss the peak by a week but there will still be some snooping around.
