I only mentioned my position to Mike Lopez. One of the landowners I know personally. The others I just introduced myself and they had no issues with it. I've never used my position to gain anything. You'd be amazed how many ppl invite me hunting, and I usially pass. I'm not going down that road. Can you use your position to get me some turkey hunting property? Congrats on the recovery! Another question, is Mike able to stop Lucy when she is getting close to a highway or other dangerous area by looking at his GPS?

He called her back a couple of times, and his wife was also out on the highway ready to catch Lucy when she came up to the roadway.

I have always heard that standing behind every successful man is a good woman who supports him. Sound like this is a 3-way team here, Mike, the wife and Lucy!

Lets talk about the shot placement. Matt's deer was recovered, that's what counts. He may just talk to you about minding your own business.

GSDowner, I made a shot I was comfortable with. I've killed hundreds of deer. I don't need to talk shot placement. I hit the deer about 2" from where I was aiming at 200 yards. Only problem was it was 2" low and 2" left. I made more effort to get this deer than most ever make, and due to persistence and help from Mike the deer was recovered. What else is expected?

Congrats Matt on a fine buck. Congrats Mike and Lucy on yet another great track! Out of curiosity and maybe could aid others in future tracking jobs, would you be willing to use an aerial photo or even just draw it out on paper (for privacy reasons vs the aerial photo) the near exact path of travel the deer took from bullet impact to retrieval? I think that would be pretty neat to see given the distance the deer traveled. Congrats again! "Hey everybody, here's my hunting spot where I kill big mature bucks because I let the little ones walk..." Said no hunter ever (ESPECIALLY Matt Brock). Since Matt's response will most likely be like above, I took the liberty of drawing the recovery map on Matt's behalf! ![[Linked Image]](http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c62/DCPhillips/2015%20-%20SEP/05D3B42E-1617-43C5-B87A-AF39A79CFB3D_zpsv2ujg5ro.jpg) Figured there'd be at the very least one smart ass response to my post lol I try to help out whenever I can!
