Longest stretch I ever worked a bunch was 80 hr/week, no days off. Thankfully, it was only for 6 months.

Buy your own business, then you only have to work when you want to. That is, if you want to work all the time, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

55-70 every week for me. 60 is the average. For a blue collar man like myself, M-F, 8-4 jobs don't pay very well in my experience.

40 hour work week..... I wish.
If I had a 40 hour work week, there would be time to work a part time job on the side.

I haven't seen a 40 hour week in years.

I probably average about 45 hours a week during the normal-slow times and closer to 60+ during the busy times.

40% of the working folks having to support the 60% of nonworking folks. That's where it went.

6 12's is my minimum but I like to work and I love what I do. My shop is open 6 days from 8am until 5pm or whenever were done ( Ive never left before 7pm). I don't care for vacations much at all. Long weekends from time to time are ok.

Never have understood why anyone wants to work their life away. It's too short to be on the clock all the time whether you enjoy your work or not.

I like a job that goes in waves. I'm about to wrap up a 6 week stretch where I have worked between 80-100hours every week. 3 months ago, there was probably the same stretch where I worked no more than 30 hours a week.
