And why do so called "Meat hunters " even care??? I just leave more deer for them?
I absolutely agree with all you said but I found this particular statement true and very funny!
I've never seen a meat hunter truly bothered by a trophy hunter. We may think it's stupid but we don't have a fit when we hear a gunshot across the line either.
I don't get pissed about a shot but when your neighbor shoots every day of gun season and he is hunting on less that 100acres. That's a problem. They are not eating all of that. They shoot them and take them to the processor and say " I would like to donate this deer". That's what I refer to as a "killer". Hunters for the hungry program is a great charity. It's has been an excuse for many to shoot the hell out of everything that looks like a deer.
So you can't kill good bucks because of your neighbor with the 100 acres?
