I haven't quit seeing deer, yet. The month of December is one of the best months to hunt.

Funny Thing is I could see the backwaters of the Tn River not 100 yds from my tree and a swampy area I have been hunting 30 yds the other way..Water had moved up in the woods just a few yds..

Same places they've been all year.

You just aren't there when they are.

Deer are staying in the woods...Green fields are not being used...nocturnal is a new way of life for the over hunted deer...I wish we didn't shoot Does on green fields.

Even if you don't shoot them if you can't slip in there and hunt them and back out without being detected, they still will stop using them in the day . I got a greenfield on the powerline and its at the back of my property the few deer that were using it , have nearly stopped , my neighbirs main hunting trail is on the hillside about 100 yards from the edge of the greenfield on the powerline when they come to hunt there property it scares them off my greenfield.. Next year I'm going to plant that 2 1/2 acres in corn and leave it standing.
