Folks will spend $5K a year on a hunting lease, $40k on a bass boat, or $2k on a custom rifle they use a few times a year but won't spring $800 for something they will use 3 times a week and will probably last lifetime if they take care of it. Duhr.  It's all about what you find is valuable to you and no one else. I love my KJ and if anything happened to it I'd go buy another that same week. This!

I have used a Weber kettle grill for I guess 25 years. I have not lit a fire in it since I got my BGE.

I have the BGE L and love it, I threw my gas grill away. I can't speak for the promos or Komato Joe, but the egg has a ton of accessories that the other don't. Either way, you'll be very happy with your purchase.
Anything worth doing, is worth doing right, or it's not worth doing at all!
