Primos XL. I got tired of buying grills and throwing them away every 2-3 years

Well I'm leaning hard to the Primo XL. Anything that I need to know or get when I purchase?

I'm cooking steaks on my BGE right now and love it. If I had to do it over again I would by a Primo XL, but the egg works great for us.

I have used a Weber kettle grill for I guess 25 years. I have not lit a fire in it since I got my BGE.

The Hoover Costco is having a seasonal special on the Kamado Joe grills with accessories 600.00 & 900.00 IIRC.
We have had a medium BGE for 10 years, buy one you won't regret the purchase.

I've had a large bge for probably 7 or 8 years now. Best grill I've ever had. I cook on average 2 times a week year round. Bit of a learning curve, but once you get it down, the only way to go. Never used a primo so couldn't accurately review it.

I have the BGE L and love it, I threw my gas grill away. I can't speak for the promos or Komato Joe, but the egg has a ton of accessories that the other don't. Either way, you'll be very happy with your purchase.

I agree that it's some of the best money I've spent. I've had my egg for 9 years now and cook on it 2-3 times a week. There's not a more versatile cooker out there.

I will say that the XL egg is way too big unless you do some huge cooks. I can fit about 30 lbs of Butt on my L egg. I've never had an occasion I needed anything bigger than the L. I don't have a clue about Primo sizing so their XL may be different

I have a large BGE but you can't go wrong with either one IMO.

I just had my Large BGE delivered last week. Sunday was my first time to use it. I'll never go back to propane. Can't wait to smoke my first baby back ribs on it.
