oops, my bad on getting the Division wrong.

I did notice a weird factoid. Charleston So, the team Jack St curb stomped in the first round, only lost two regular season games... one to UA, and one to Troy. Yet Troy had their worst year in about 15 years and UA is playing for all the marbles this year. I'm not sure what that means other than it seems kind of odd.

when and where is the champ game played.. They keep saying FRISCO, I'm assuming that's San Francisco? Or is it one of the Frisco Citys? Really cool they get to play North Dakota State...You gotta beat the 4 time defending champs to be the CHAMP! Go J=State !!! If it was Frisco City Alabama, home of the Whippets, I was going to go.

The students were absorbed into Uriah (J.U. Blacksher), Excel, and MCHS. I always thought that was a cool, unique nickname. They used to play some pretty good small school football, too.

Yep one of my room mates at AU dated one of the majorettes and we went to one of the games. Great name and pretty good 1-A football. One of the other schools should have absorbed the nickname. BTW, they still sell Whippet gear on the internet. I came across a lot trying to find out what happened to the school. No info on that, but a lot of T-shirts.
