Yep. It's dead right now in the part of Jackson county that I hunt.

From what I've seen the last 2 days, looks like things are right on schedule. Bucks looking for love but does aren't hardly ready.

Northeast part of the county should be getting close, it's still atleast 3 weeks away in PRV.

I'm not for sure about upper PRV, I guess just should have said mid to lower is at least 3 weeks away. The 12-16th has always been prime where I hunt

Or at least that's what I was told was the reason for the difference. Makes sense.

Dogs and JW, are yall seeing good buck sign? I'm on a new piece of ground this year here close to town, and I've not seen a whole lot yet. Still trying to figure this spot out. CD. I'm on some hot sign. Hunted the same stand yesterday and today, big , hot primary right in front, bucks worked it both days. Seeing does and smaller bucks chasing and cruising . I don't think the really old studs are on their feet in daylight much just yet, but dang close. I'm moving a couple hundred yards tomorrow to a proven killin' spot. Good sign there too.
