Now there's a thought. Tag system, only issue is kids that are not licensed yet.
In states with tags and TeleCheck, all hunters who kill anything must tag the deer whether they're licensed. So if an 8-yo kills a buck or doe it must be reported. How they do it without the kid being licensed, dunno, but they do.
Having a TeleCheck and tagging system is not difficult, impossible or, with the electronic system, cost-prohibitive. Just takes a conservation department that gets wholly board and hunters who get on board. Neither of those are happening in Alabama.
