You people have no faith in the biologist that make their living caring for the state deer population. If a guy is killing more than his legal quota he's a criminal and should be treated that way. You are dead WRONG about the does. I can't speak for all areas but the population is way down in my area. An area which never had many deer to begin with. I guess the deer are moving during the 25th and 26th hours of the day when my cameras don't work?
You're right Fur, some areas need to take the foot off the gas, some need more, some are about right. But in their infinite wisdom " the state" took a step back to the deer management dark ages and painted the whole state with the one doe a day brush. I'll not drag my soap box out on a Sunday AM.
