Its your money spend it where you want. Its a shame they are so out on their pricing. Have you done a websearch for cheaper pricing ? Is that the dealer in Hattiesburg ? Some dealers are offering 1000 in extras too.

Tried to buy a new Grizzly from Montgomery Honda/Yamaha. They were out of line on pricing compared to Lake Hill Motors. I offered them 500 dollars more than Lake Hills advertised price. They guy got pissed and hung up............Needless to say I'm heading to Corinth Mississippi on Tuesday and saving 2000 bucks. Lake Hill was very helpful, the guy called me 3 or 4 times yesterday just going over stuff. It's 4.5 hours one way, but I figure that's a savings of 1000 up there and 1000 back. I'll never set foot in Montgomery Yamaha again. Lmao. Back in 2003 I did this very thing with the same two dealerships with a grizzly 660. You won't have to pay tax in Mississippi initially but trust me you will get a bill from the IRS. Seems like my tax was $300 which still saved me $1,600. I also bought the extended warranty and I had a seal start to leak so I carried it to montgomery. They told me since I didn't buy from them they wouldn't honor the warranty. They were trying to charge me $300 for replacing a seal that was covered by the warranty. I called the 800 number in my book which stated any yamaha dealer in the US had to honor and the manager tore up that bill and handed me the keys.

If you'd payed them, then checked with Yamaha and they paid them too, whoa nelly , they'd have some "splainin' to do".

You won't have to pay tax in Mississippi initially but trust me you will get a bill from the IRS. Actually the tax bill will come from State of Alabama. TN and MS (possibly other states as well) communicate such sales with AL and you'll get a bill. I threw mine in the garbage and never heard anything else about it.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Curious what a new grizz cost if you care to share. Ive got a 05 bruin that has served me well. Dont get me wrong ive had to replace stuff but shes a work horse. I rebuilt my carb once and it was never right finaly bought a new carb ebay knock off and it runs great. Thats the way to go eaiser wasnt much more than a kit. 8-10k for 2016. 2016 they are not making anything smaller than the 700 from my understanding. The Kodiak is 700 also but runs like 6-8k

The one I'm getting is a 700 Grizzly with power steering and automatic. Also has the locking differential and a few other bells and whistles. I think the Kodiak is about 1000 less but doesn't have the differential lock. I am paying 8149 out the door for the Grizzly. Montgomery wanted 10,500 out the door. The one I'm getting is green in color.
