The 7-1 parka goes on sale in a few days along with the bibs. 100$ off each one roughly. I'll probably buy them then and see how I like them. The 7-1 coat seems like a better deal that the regular Coat from what I understand because it looks like the 7-1 has a goose down vest inside of it where as the regular jacket does not. Is this correct? It's not down. It's thinsulate or whatever it is they use. I also hated layers. Combine that with hunting public land and it's a pain toting everything in. That's why I bought the heater bodysuit which I bought more for bowhunting to eliminate a bunch of clothes. I can just slip out of it. It's more for a stand type setting. With a gun I just wear whatever. Even with the 7-1 you are going to want to tote it in or pack on your stand.
