That's the thing that's the biggest shame of this whole thing. I've never hunted there, but n2deer and I have a turkey lease about 15 miles from them. We got an invite one weekend last turkey season to come over for a cookout, and enjoyed some good fellowship and ate dinner with all of them who we thought were all great (and believe me, they can cook some jam up food too). Got to meet Tru Talker and Jay and some of the other members of their club. I had already met Bowhunter84 before that. They were all great guys and I enjoyed the evening immensely. That Jay guy was a little peculiar and unfriendly but I suspect that was because he didn't know us and it just takes some people a little longer to warm up to strangers than others, so I didn't think anything about it. We had a great time with all of them, and it's a shame there is hard feelings between them. Clubs can be good things and sometimes they create unnecessary drama and ruin friendships.

Brandon and I enjoyed that evening fellas and I hope we get to do it again this coming up season.

Problem is one side of the argument can sit there and bump their gums all they want with zero repercussions and the other side can't or they will get a power trip pulled on them. It does suck when hunting comes between friends.

This is true; however there is also the fact that those who are still in the club run the risk of getting the boot over BS internet drama.

There are folks in that club who do not want bad publicity, of any kind, associated with their name.

I think it's too late for that. With the allegations of hunting over bait and out of season, I'd imagine Mr. Green Jeans will be spending a large amount of time there in the near future.

I dont know why, but i just spent a good 20 minutes scanning through this thread. All i took in from it was people there use corn, there are people that kill over the legal limit of turkeys, and its ran by a bunch of women. How is this place still up and going? or is it?

So, you mean to say you can't hunt over corn and there's a limit on turkeys?

That might have been why some people brought it up but not my reasoning. I couldn't stand the fact that every time Tru Talker said anything even when he didn't mention a club name that you would instantly go on defense with Yekrut and BH84. From my limited knowledge I don't think you're a club member either so I decided I'd chime in. And you always want to Talk about Minions but it really seems that you must be Yekrut and BH84's minions since you don't have a dog in the fight but continue to chime in also. I've never had any problems with you Shaw and have done business with you on multiple occasions, I just think you let your friendships influence how you moderate on here and when something doesn't suit them you ban whoever opposed them. It's pretty obvious that you have it out for a few of them and that's no secret. Truth is if you hadn't continued pushing buttons with Tru Talker I never would have said anything and this thread would have more than likely died quietly and they would have never been outed.

I can't believe no one paid attention to the date on the pic. If the date is correct it's awful early for the youth hunt.

It really is a shame that friendships have been ruined. I hunt there and truly enjoy it. The "core" group of guys that have been members there for years along with our newest members will do anything for you. I feel like I have made some very close friends there and I don't take that lightly. I was new to hunting when I joined and made all the rookie mistakes (still do occasionally) and likely irritated some guys that were extremely serious about hunting. I do feel bad about that and try to learn from my mistakes. It's a hunting club with more than 1 person. Someone is going to irritate someone else at some point, but, life goes on.

There have been all kinds of things said by ex members, folks who have been invited to hunt, folks who came to a party at the owner's cabin, and some that have never set foot at the place or met any of us. I've been a member at one club so I don't know how things work at other clubs. I do know that we have a few ex members that seem to go through hunting clubs like chit through a goose. I have no idea why they quit or were asked to leave other clubs and don't really care. What I do know is that when you point a finger at someone you have a few pointed back at yourself. I am always surprised by the hypocrisy of some folks. I absolutely refuse to stoop to the level of others and call them out on a public forum for what they did while they hunted (and in the process of leaving) our club. What I will say is we had the most enjoyable opening weekend we have had in a long time. Our fields look better than they have in years. There was absolutely zero drama or tension. I honestly hope that the guys who left are happy with whatever they are doing now and I wish them great success. Last I saw one of them he was loading his truck on a trailer that was loaned to him by the very guy he obviously circulated the picture about earlier in the thread. I know one had some medical issues and I hope and pray that he is recovering from those problems and is able to get back in the woods soon if he has not already.

Good luck to everyone this season. Stay safe!

So, I don't have time to read all this crap. But basically, what I am getting out of this, and correct me if I'm wrong:

There is a club with a bunch of drama, and they lost members, so they want to give me a free spot to help kill some of their deer???

Thanks guys!

I never mentioned anyone's name.

Your first post:

You are talking about Tru-Talker having a picture of one of the lawyers in BH84 and Yekrut's club walking up to a dead deer with corn behind them with dad having the gun and kid holding his ears as if dad is about to shoot deer again(youth season and from stories I've heard kid is scared to shoot a pellet gun. The gun they have with them is a 270). Now it's hard to call that lies, being that I've seen pictures and the pics have been posted here and deleted by mods almost instantly.

You did though.

Let's see, one idiot has been banned over this whole ordeal. That was Jnall. He got put in time out because he kept stirring crap up about this club in the lease forum long before I knew BH84 and Yekrut were members. Like most of those type threads, it got locked. Then he started a second one and it got locked as well. Then the dumb ass posts it in the General Forum. I should have pulled the trigger permanently then, but I gave him 3 months. When his timeout was over, being the dumbass that he is, he gets on the General Forum pronouncing that his 1st Amendment Constitutional rights had been violated and drug it up again. So he was culled. I guess he was buddy's with TRU-Talker's buddy and they put him up to it. That's been my only involvement with it.

What's getting old is this minion group you're part of, Josh. If any one of you have any sort of disagreement on here, ya'll pour out of the woodwork and jump the person. Ya'll have been butthurt for the last 6 months about Morris. Well truth be known, I had nothing to do with it. One of the owners did that after Morris reposted a picture that was taken down by the owner. Despite what you may have been told, that is what happened. The admin logs on this site don't lie. I can go in and check to see what posts have been edited (even when you edit your own post), deleted, moved or any bans issued.

Your little buddy Tru-Talker has a history of dragging club drama on here. Before you became part of the minion pack, Josh, he had done this several times in the lease forum about several clubs that had posted openings. He had to be issued a warning about that behavior.

I've met you Josh and I think you're a good guy, but you're getting fed some bad info about this whole ordeal and me.

Don't pay any attention to what they said I killed three hens over a corn pile out of my climber today and nobody wrote me a ticket so it must be legal.

Here is my take on it.

Most people on this site, take aldeer waaaaayyyy to seriously. Secondly, There is more drama on here, than any club I've ever been a part of. That's part of the reason it is fun. I can sit back and watch, get involved, etc. But when I'm fed up with it, I log out for a day or two, no worries. With a hunting club, you're stuck.
