First sit of season for me in the morning.
Just wondering around what time is first light?

I found 5:30 to be too late this past weekend. Shooting for 5:15 this weekend (Far East side of the state btw)

First of the week it started breaking day about 5:45-5:50 in pickens county. I believe the official sunrise time for Saturday is 6:24 so around 5:55am. I'll be settled in no later than 5:20.

I use the sunrise time as a general rule. Sky will get light 50 mins before sunrise

If you have an iPhone, get "sunrise sunset lite". It's free, gives sunrise, sunset, more importantly civil dawn and dusk (when you can see and can't see)
