I don't think it would not at all maybe if genetically crossed them with Elk, the ground you have is going to grow what's it going to grow period .
horsechitt, and any biologist that will tell the truth will back that up. Northern genetics WILL improve your buck offsprings ability to grow larger antlers. Nutrition is only one part of what goes into growing antlers. Goat shit call it what you want , but no biologist can tell you for certan what would happen to northem whitetails released free range in Alabama to eat what we have here with what nutrients we have in our soil . Maybe for a while they would be bigger .. But why is there key deer because there habitate dont support them to grow big . A fish can only grow to the size of his pond .
