In another thread skinny said

"Heck, there was a time in my life that my primary hunting vehicle was a Mazda Protege sedan. I loaded deer into the trunk and taped the back closed with duct-tape."

What is the goofiest vehicle you have hunted out of or loaded a deer into? Just last year I didn't have a truck and hunted out of my Toyota Camry. I killed a deer one morning, drug that sucker to my car, and stuffed it in the trunk on top of some garbage bags!

loaded a big nine point Coosa Co buck in the trunk of a B210Datsun. Left the head hanging out to show.

put a doe on the floor of the rear seat of a Ford station wagon once. When we went to take it out it had stiffened up and we had to cut it partly up in place to remove it.

have tied deer on the roof of a VW mudbug several times. I once shot a buck standing right by my VW, figgered the bullet might go thru and hit the VW, but it didn't!!!

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Saw a 6'6" 275 lb guy load a 125lb, 1.5 year old 3 point into the passenger seat of his "scooter" because he couldn't lift it into the back once.

Me and a couple of friends skipped school one day to hunt. We got my 79 Trans Am stuck and had to wait on another friend to get out of school to come pull us out.

That's good stuff! I wish you had a pic of the head hanging out of the Datsun.

The only time in my life I've ever been truckless, I had a Cutlass Supreme. Hunted in it for one season. Always carried a sheet of plastic in the trunk. Hauled several deer in the trunk. Amazingly, I never got that thing stuck.

Wasn't mine, but I saw a Dodge Intreped ON TOP of Big Coon at Skyline once. That's hard core.

I also hunted out of my Nissan Sentra at Choccolocca just last weekend. Drove all over that place looking for a black Dodge. laugh

Hauled several deer out in a Mazda 6, a couple in Pontiac lemans, and one in 88 mustang lx. I have been truck poor for a long time. My friend's started calling the Mazda the "Super Duty 6". That bad boy will go in the mud! Thankful I have a tundra now. Probably most memorable was picking up 16 bags of seed in the super duty 6. The guys at Marks were not really accustomed to that! Your going to put this, in that??? Yep. Low, and slow that trip. But made it.

Put a 8 point top of a 1978 Z28 trunk because I could see across the hood when I put it there.

I didn't see anybody out there but I heard something or someone hollering something about "just got real?" I'm not sure that's what I heard but it sounded like that's what they hollered. My RPM's were up around 6K so it was hard to hear over the engine and my duals.

My brother had a Chevrolet chevette. Had a full skid plate under it that made it easy to skid through mud holes. Hauled lots of dead critters out in the hatch back of that ride.

My first hunting rig was a white, no frills, stripped down, budget model 1978 Toyota Corolla. Two door. The floor covering was one sheet of thick vinyl. I took the passenger seat out and used that area for my deer. I had to do that because one morning I killed a spike at daylight and figured why not load him in the trunk and go get a Hardee's chicken biscuit? So, I pulled into Hardee's, went inside, ordered and while waiting on my biscuit an older gentleman tapped me on the shoulder and said, "son, your bucks escaping". I looked out to see my spike's head and front legs laying on the ground and the rest still in the trunk. The trunk collapsed due to rust. So, I got my biscuit, went out to the car and drug him to the passenger side and laid him, best I could, in the seat. That afternoon the seat came out. That car was a tank! I could not kill it no matter how rough I drove it. That was in 1985. I paid $200 for it. I sold it in 1992 for $300. LOL
