It's not surprising that if the deer didn't go down, a few wouldn't look for it. We live in a throw away society. That, combined with "lack of taking responsibility for our actions cause we want to blame everybody/everything else", deer don't get recovered. "Eh, it's just a deer - there's a million of 'em in AL." I hate this attitude.
