I can come pull you out if need be. You ought to see some deer. I been seeing deer like crazy since the rain quit. I rode through Chocc about 5-530 and only saw about 8 trucks.

Text me if you need help. I'm not hunting.
We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.

Anyone heard of any being brought by the check station today?
I didn't bother waking up to go with all the rain forecasted for today.

When I left at 11:30 there had been 1 225 lb hog checked in. I heard 0 shots and saw 0 deer. I did hear a couple pigs snorting in a bottom, but didn't see them. Drove 180 miles, got back home and there is a doe and fawn in my yard. Y'all can have that place, one trip made my mind up. I did see that black dodge this morning when I was leaving, so I know where to tell all my buddies to hunt next time😄.

There aren't any does to thin. I saw 0 sign in over 4 miles of walking ridges and hollows. Just not much there.

Guy did a little survey with us yesterday. Said he worked ay Coosa WMA usually. Was that you, Night Hunter? Nope wasn't me. Probably Steve Mitchell the biologist over Coosa and Hollins. Been tons of does and fawns seen on our side just no legal bucks. A few folks have found the hidey holes.

There's plenty of deer over there it's just hard hunting. It hunts totally different than anywhere else I hunt. Hunters that know where they are don't talk about it. I would like to know how many miles I've walked at choccolocco. Yep, there's deer there but it can be a hard place to hunt. Terrain is difficult, and it's not like you can show up and find a good oak dropping acorns to hunt........cause that's what the whole WMA consists of for the most part. Heck, I love the place..........and hate I couldn't get out there for this opportunity. And I sure thank the DCNR for making a special hunt like this. I'd say the weather is the biggest factor in the low kill numbers.
