Im shooting some Victorys that came with my Attack right now but wanting to upgrade to some new ones (and get a full dozen).
I like to build my own so I was curious whats yalls favorites shafts right now? Ive shot Gold Tips and last had some Beeman ICS's but noticed a bunch of new stuff out in one of my bowhunting magazines. Im unfamiliar with alot of them (the models, not the name brands).
So whats are you shooting now and do you like it?

For the last 25 years I have shot nothing but Easton XX75 arrows. I shoot the 2314's and I know some of the folks on here are going to scream when they read this! They work for me and I have no reason to change. I have killed over 100 deer in my bowhunting career, and I really have no idea exactly how many. I quit counting years ago. This is one of the reasons I no longer shoot does. I killed too many years ago just for a "numbers" thing. I also stocked up on arrow shafts years ago and still have about 6 or 7 dozen in the boxes they came in, unopened. I know I will still have a few of these when I die. When a deer is less than 25 yards to you, the XX75's are my choice and always will be.
I can't stand a thief.

I'll be shooting the Gold Tip Pro Hunter 5575's this year fletched with 2" Quick Spin Speed Hunters. And most of you members that have been coming here a while and know me better sit down for this.....They'll be tipped with a 100gr. G5 Tekken 3.

Nothing wrong with that....good wide shaft for pronged rests and not too heavy. I use the Gold Tip XT55/75 because I think they have a good balance between price and performance. I've had the same doz for about 5 years. They may have changed the name by now, not sure. I don't keep up with all these fan-dangled names today. If money was no object, I'd shoot the Easton ACC's.

Another vote for Gold Tip Pro Hunter in 5575 with 2" plastics(not sure which brand). Mine will be tipped with 100 gr. G5 Montecs or 100 gr. Thunderheads. Whichever I feel like needs to bring the pain that day.

Been using Beman ICS hunters for YEARS now. Very tough arrows, very consistent one to the next on spine, and I can get 10 out of 12 to fly right with my field points out to 50 yards with fixed broadheads up front. I have no idea about the new ones with the fancy insert though....I bought up a bunch of the old style while I still could.
