I know a guy who has hunted all over the world for all kinds of stuff. He uses a BAR Safari 300 Win Mag. He borrowed a truly big rifle for his Cape buffalo. Only problem with something like that if you going to globe trot is some countries frown on bringing in a semi auto. I've had 30-06, .270, .300, 25-06, 7-08 and now the .243. The .243 looks small but some serious deer killas on here rave about it. Going to use it this year. A .308 may be my next caliber. I'm excited about the .243. It's fun to shoot.
