Nothing here so far this afternoon but squirrels, wind is still swirling here. Ugh, it's trying to get dark.

Ever thought of putting a handful of the biggest acorns or hickory nuts you can find in one pocket and a sling shot in the other? Never tried it but I bet that would send a nice, non-lethal "you're not welcome here" message.

Just a thought.

Just got in. Got skunked once again. Hopefully I'll see at least ONE deer tomorrow, haven't seen a deer while hunting at all this season, beside one as I was walking out way past sunset. It starts wearin on ya!

Haha I wish I would of had that. All I had was a bottle of BFO so I threw it at him.

My third sit of the season produced a doe. I shot her with a Simmons tree shark using a Turkey Creek longbow. 3 does came out of a pine thicket to feed on white oaks dropping on a logging road. The trio came out at 3:45. The arrow was let go at 4:10. The shot was about 5 yds. I was hunting in north Tuscaloosa county between hwy 69 and blue creek. The woods were really pretty this evening. The kill was a bonus. I was blessed.
