I haven't posted in a while because there has been no word. As many of you know we filed an appeal with the Alabama Supreme Court.

This morning we received a call from our Attorney Ben Hand, letting us know that, after 2 LONG years of dealing with this we finally have a decision:

THE CASE WAS REVERSED AND REMANDED FOR ACQUITTAL!!


Hallelujah! While the wheels of Justice turn slow, they do turn!

It has been a LONG AND STRESSFUL, not to mention costly, 2 years. It is a relief to know that this part is over.

I do find it disheartening that the Lowndes County Justice system would allow this to happen based on the word of a retired game warden. 3 boys were arrested, tried and found guilty all because of something this RETIRED game warden heard. As it was stated - "Mr. Morrow has given 20 years of good service to this community and I value his opinion"
This was the epitome of the SMALL TOWN JUSTICE!

As we move forward with trying to get this expunged from their records and other proceedings I will keep you posted.
