Would like to hear some opinions on the vocalizations in the video. I have heard grunts and roars but nothing ever like this.

Heard it one time a few years ago. He winded me about the time he stepped out of the thick brush and bolted before I could shoot. It sounded exactly like the deer in the video.

If I heard that without seeing the deer while I heard it, I would probably just believe it was one of the gators sounding off. I wouldn't have recognized it as a deer.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I gut shot a 9 point in Wisconsin last year, and when I walked up to him he was still alive. He sounded exactly like that when he saw me coming

That is EXACTLY the sound those deer were making that I talked about in the buck roar thread. I literally watched, just feet from my treestand, a SPIKE make that same noise, then it would culminate in a burst "roar". Looooooooong "croaking" grunt lasting several seconds like that, then BAM!!! ROAR.
When he would do that, the doe would scat, and he'd chase her. Round and round.
