Same day depending on circumstances. I've killed several deer out of the same stand multiple days in a row. I've doubled on does and big bucks several times the same hunt or same day. Human intrusion changes deer behavior, not dead deer or blood splatter.

I killed three in a many days. Depends on how much you contaminated the area.

Killed a 9pt one morning, went to the same stand that evening and killed two does. It was a HOT tree.

I've seen deer walk by gutpiles a day old and didn't flinch. Get in and go hunt.

Has it ever been legal to kill 3 deer in one day? Yep. When? To answer the original question, I have gone back in the afternoon and hunted the same stand I killed a deer in that morning.
