Are there at least 2 of you? If so sleep in shifts. One sitting up with a shotgun across his lap while the other sleeps. Ditto about leaving anything in your car.

If said valuable was left in vehicle would it be considered Baiting?

spot on. I've stayed at holiday inn. The golden ranch right up the road is good also to eat

Not if it's more than 100 yards away and not in direct line of sight.

I'm in Selma all the time . Is it really that bad? I mean I know it's pretty dark but so is mobile, wait never mind.... It's a damn shame . Glad I only have to drive through it to get to camp.

Businesses have a hard time staying afloat in Selma due to all the theft.

It is only that bad if you leave your valuables in a vehicle or wander to places that good sense should tell you that shouldn't be there. I still have my family here and few, if any know the ins and outs of Selma better than I. Same as Montgomery or Mobile we just have less wiggle room before we are in a bad spot.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

And, you better book in advance. It's not always easy to get a room at these two places.

This is not the reason unless you consider exceptionally high tax and license rates gov't sponsored theft. That coupled with a low median income means a bad business environment.

I have visited customers in Selma and eaten there many a time and never had an issue. However, i was in and out and did not spend the night. Just be smart and use common sense.

You can try Pimp Daddy's Hotel and Funeral Parlor. It's kind of a vertically integrated business model for Selma.

You can pay by the hour if you need to. Their slogan is "We'll be the last ones to let you down."

The company I work for used to have a plant down there which closed this year. ...when we would have to go there to work on equipment my boss would say congrats you have to go to selmallia today. We would stay at the comfort Inn right up from the Ford dealership and never had a problem well we never had any welding leads stolen off of the trucks

You haven't been to Selma in awhile. Charlie Brown's hasn't existed for a number of years. It died about the same time as disco. Charlie Browns couldn't exist without disco.
