Well, opening morning of gun season, me & my dad are back there. This jack leg comes underneath my stand with a few hounds on a gang leash, oblivious to me in my climber. I give a, “Hey, what the **** are you doing?” to the guy, he unleashed the dogs & hauls butt. I climb down, go find my Dad, and tell him what’s going on. Dad got his phone and called the landowner. As we walk back to the truck, there is a known outlaw sitting there in his truck. He wants to know why WE are poaching and proceeds to tell us how HE has an agreement with Ms. So & So to keep an eye on her place. He and his sidekick (who I recognized as the guy with the dogs) were getting loud & mouthy about the whole ordeal, but before fist flew, 2 more vehicles pulled up. The landowner & the sheriff. Needless to say, he was very sad within about 5 minutes.
