Does anyone have these specific boots? danner Reviews? I'm looking for a work boot particularly. Will need to stay dry, cool, warm, and last 2 years. Any other suggestions?

Danner boots are among the best made. You can't go wrong with them Reb. The buddy that told me about them cruised timber for Gulf States and they were the only boots that would hold up to that. He'd buy two pairs a year as opposed to a new pair every month with other brands he tried. I have a pair of hunting boots that are over 10 yrs old and still water proof.

I wear them at work. So far they have held up good from ruck marching and jumping from airplanes. I don't have any complaints.

I have the uninsulated Danner Pronghorns, very similar to the boots in the link, and they are awesome and have held up extremely well. I've had them for 4 years and they endured a Colorado elk hunt. I already bought another pair on sale from the breakroom for when the first pair wears out, which doesn't look like it'll be any time soon. No break-in period required either.

That site has proved to me to 99.9%worthless unless you want some California style, left footed boot. One time they had a deal on a decent looking Wellington but they didn't have my size.

I've had good success with the Breakroom. I snagged the 2nd pair of Pronghorns for $40 shipped. I paid $165 for the first pair on sale at Marks. Breakroom had all sizes of lacrosse wellingtons on sale about a month ago for $45 or less.

I have always heard the Pronghorns were good boots.

In my experience w' several pairs, the US made Danners are great boots. Pricey, but really well made & will last and can be resoled when and if needed.
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

Ive got a pair of Sharptail Coveys that are by far the best boots Ive owned. Had them so long the tread is gone but the leather is still ok. Thinking about getting them resoled becuase they dont make them anymore. Great boots IMO

Been using two pairs of danners for work this year. Most comfortable boots ever, but not waterproof worth a chit. I've slathered these things with nixwax, sprayed em with silicon spray, and used old fashioned beeswax and my feet still get wet on a dewey morning. But that's why I own mucks, too.
The only leather boot I've owned that claimed to be waterproof and stayed that way were some irish setters. Which models did you have issues with water resistance. That is a big factor for me.
