I was minding my own business last Thursday when I was "Brutally " attacked by at least two platoons and one squadron of these ruthless and vicious soldiers of Satan.

Went to the doctor today for a wellness physical. During a wellness physical you are not supposed to get treated or anything. ...just a check-up. When the doctor had me strip down to my drawers, he said you've got to be in pain with all those bites. I confirmed his suspension but told him this is just a physical. He told me to wait a minute. ...he came back with a harpoon like needle with a concoction he said works and as long as he was giving me the shot the nurses didn't need to know and neither did the girls in the billing department. Also gave me a prescription for Zrytec and some cream. By the time I made it home I was so drowsy and dazed from the shot I couldn't remember what I went to the doctor for.

I got tore to pieces Saturday night tracking a deer. I've been miserable.

My ankles tell me no!!!!! The seed ticks are out in force too. Two of the club members didn't heed my advice on spraying down yesterday. They ended up with hundreds on them plus however many chiggers they found.

North central al and southern middle tn, they gone. Skeeters on the other hand are in full force. I'm a surveyor, so I'm In The woods every single day. And they are not near as bad as they were in July when I was picking 30 ticks a day off me and actually got my ankles so torn up with chiggers it left a few small scars lol. So right now it's pleasant!

I wasn't even in the woods! I got covered up just by walking behind my house. Nothing seems to be helping the itching. I may not have legs left after tonight

Use Cool Mint Listerine... it'll help ease the itching.

I work in the woods 7 days a week, 10-12 hours a day. They are out there, but they aren't difficult to avoid. I wear snake gaiters which cover my boots and the opening of my pants, which helps, but I spray 25% deet around all openings in my clothing and it keeps them out. Also keep your shirt tucked in.

I've had chiggers twice this year and it's the first time in close to 50 years that I've had them. Got the 2nd batch on me right now.

They whooped my arse several months back..I had over 100+ welps on my upper body I didn't treat my shirt, and I sat my shoulder holster in the bushes
