Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends!

I hunted out of one last year and if you hang on small to medium tree it works great. It wont work on larger trees. Very light and easy to setup. I bought a summitt goliath an plan on using both for different situations.

How was the actual climbing process? Did it stick well in the process? Was it steady once you got to height?

Too much movement for me. I didn't like the way the cable attached. I don't think I'll be sitting in one no time soon.

In the climbing process you must keep weight on top piece or it does not stick well. Once you get up tree and pull straps tight it is not going anywhere. I was nervous the first couple of times i have to admit. The key is to set up at the right angle to adjust to tree as you climb. Any forward lean and it is not good. I have sat in it all day. It is not for everyone, i needed lightweight stand to carry long way and it worked well for me. In my opinion if weight is not concern get another stand, if weight is concern, get it and practice before you go.
