We're probably gonna build a new house within the next 6-12 months, the wife and I both love craftsman style houses. Any of y'all have a crafstman house?...would love to see some pictures, just to get ideas of features, colors, materials, etc. Interior or exterior is great! This is a similar design to what we have in mind, but not necessarily these colors--

Or maybe this one (not the same house as above)--

I really like the "courtyard entry garage" like those houses have.

We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.

Nice looking house! My six month probationary period is up as of today. We plan to start looking at houses next weekend. And maybe I can finally bring my boat home.

We just built one. Design was considered a lake house type, but we added a lot of craftsman features inside & out. Our plan is based on "Banner Elk II" by designer Max Fulbright out of GA. (Maxhouseplans.com I believe) . Kind of like the 2nd photo you posted but surrounded by concrete porches 360 degrees.

Note about garage--make sure you have enough concrete pad to pull car in/back out easily. Our doors make a 90degree angle with the house, so We poured a large pad in front of the house for this reason. I like how the kids can open the garage doors and play out front, plenty of room, and put everything away easily when done. I would not like this if we were near a road and traffic though.
