The largest paper in the state, The Clarion Ledger, has a poll asking every congressman and senator in the state their position. They've contacted every member and have been updating the poll for the last two weeks. As of today, in the House there are 22 No votes, 31 Yes votes, and 67 No Response, Undecided, or Refusals to answer. In the Senate, there are 2 No votes, 13 Yes votes, and 37 No Response, Undecided, or Refusals to Answer. Of the 172 state congressmen polled, only 33 are on record so far in support of changing the flag. Most of the politicians aren't touching the issue and would rather people forget about it.
