I just watched it. Interesting show. Cool that they made a Viking battle axe for the finale. Looked to me like both of the ones the finalists made were equally good. Just personal preference on which one won.

I've watched it once and didn't care for it. I would like to see them given a project and see what kind of functional works of art they could come up with. Not give them 3 hours to throw some crap together that looks like pure hell.
That J Neilsen guy who is one of the judges puts together some of the finest blades I have ever seen. His knives routinely bust the $1,000 mark.
