Going to Biloxi in the middle of July and planning on a day trip to Louisiana.Where is the closest place in that vicinity that I can get me some good boudin balls.

If you have the time, go on to Ronnie's meats in Hammond. Dang it boy. They have hot boudin balls and freezer packed ones to take home. I promise you'll get some to go.

second vote for Ronnie's in Hammond. Grab a bag of hot cracklins while you're there.

Boudin balls are tennis ball size, deep fried, heavenly goodness.
They are boudin without the casing. Boudin is sorta like sausage but with rice in it. Most of the time it's made of pork liver and blood with different seasonings, but there is also gator, crawfish, beef and venison versions.
If you ever drive through LA on i-10, stop and get some. You won't be disappointed.
