I never could buy into any of it either. My grandparents were what you would have called Ol’ Timers. They grew some beautiful gardens but they wouldn’t plant until the “signs” were right. I’ve heard stuff like that if you plant greens while the signs were in the bowels then it would tear your stomach up when you ate them…..and I’m like…..Uhhh, you think its maybe just all that grease and fresh greens hitting your stomach like a dose of castor oil??? My mother is a hardcore flower and vegetable gardener and she swears there’s something to some of the stuff in there. She won’t plant anything while the signs are in the killin times. I tend to just see it from a straight “scientific” standpoint…..moisture, soil temp, etc….
