5 trout per person, no culling from the creel, fishing license required.
Come over to the Cullman co. side for Fly fishing. When you get to the Birmingham water pump station on Co. Rd. 95 park and walk around the fence(right side). Once around the fence go back down to the water. From there fish your way upstream. In my opinion the best fishing is from the pump station upstream to the dam. Bring polarized sunglasses and you'll be able to see the trout better. The best spots are the deeper pools of water. I saw some nice size fish this morning and they have been biting pretty good early in the morning, so come early. I don't know much about fly fishing so this statement may be useless, but they fly fishermen I've checked lately said dry flies and nymphs were working pretty good.

Definitely pay attention to the water and stay within range of the getthehelloutnow side. Folks at Riverside can help for sure.
