There's a private fishing club in Stockton...Patterson Lake. I have tried to get contact info for it several times. I know a guy that use to fish in it but he no longer does and didn't know who to contact about it now.

Steelwood Lake at the Steelwood Resort has one of the best private Lakes in Alabama. Very expensive membership. Location is just north of Loxley exit I-10.

Yep, I've had the pleasure of fishing there twice and both times were nothing short of amazing. You gonna have to really like fishing to pay for a membership at this place

It's right in the middle of Carney Hunting Club. Last I knew, a Peacock guy was over it.

I grew up 5 minutes from there. Patterson Lake for a while was not very well taken care of an about fished out. It has been better taken care of the last several years.

Fished it with him last summer. Yes it's being managed pretty well now. There is a waiting list long enough it discouraged me from even adding my name to the list. I know a guy a little further up the food chain on that deal though, so I may check on it again. If the list isn't absurdly long I'll pm both you guys the contact name and number of the guy I know on the board. Pretty place. I THINK I heard Steelwood lake near Loxley had a pay to fish deal but I may be wrong. I know of a few farmers with OUTSTANDING fish ponds, but they're invitation ONLY. Asking is a waste of time.

My inlaws fish the Patterson Lake. Huge bream and decent bass but like stated earlier it has had a pretty long waiting list for a while. Took my paw n law several years to get in.
