Some great places to do some tent camping in North Alabama.
Sipsey Wilderness: Multiple great spots, with several along various creeks. Short walks to long hikes available.
Walls of Jericho: Forever Wild tract. Steep hike in and out (2 miles or so), but well worth the effort. You can camp at the meadow where the streams intersect or camp at the rock "amphitheater" when the water is low in summer.
Other Forever Wild tracts: Several allow for tent camping. The Sipsey Sullivan tract is on the water.
"The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever." Isaiah 40:8
"Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt. Samuel Adams
