I was wondering.. We have a large tract of land with tons of deer . Is there enough guys/girls willing to join a club to Bow hunt till the rut at least? Is there any bow guy / girl groups I could reach out to? I think if we did 2 doe and 6 pt or better you could limit out before the rut. Unless you wait for a bigger one.

My suggestion is to open up your club during the youth weekend and blitz them hard for two days. I'd imagine you could control your doe numbers pretty easily if you allow maximum harvest during that time. And I can assure you, there are plenty of youth that would absolutely eat that up.

To answer your question, there are plenty of guys that would join a bow only lease if it's prime ground.

It is prime ground I guess it's a two part question 1. could enough guys and or girls bow hunters be found .2. Where could would should i find them.

I guess it depends on how many you need to fill the cost. If your talking ab 5-6 below $2,000 I would say you have a chance at finding enough. If you need 10+ members at $2,000 it's gonna be a lot harder.

outside of Greenville Al. It has been a gun/bow club. land is 3000ac one big block at $10 per ac takes 16-18 people paying $2500. to cover cost. You see 10-20 deer from camp porch daily and 30-50 bucks a season. It has been 6pt or better for 16 yrs. We don't run the roads and shoot at Stuff . last yr 18 members 4 turkey hunt only 3 came maybe 5 days. we harvest about 24 8pts. I was thinking of bow only if I could find the hunters.
