Been busy all weekend, but I'll be hunting again in the morning!

I got an upgrade in Oklahoma yesterday.

I had a crazy hunt, I set up in my afternoon spot where me and a buddy had tried yesterday, he gobbled a bunch and got within 75 yds around 3:00, but never closed the distance. Today I set up where he strutted and gobbled yesterday, sat there from 2 till 4, and got to wanting to check another field, so I went down the road, but found nothing, on my way back I got busted by a hen in a field close to my spot, I was thinking I messed it all up, but as i slipped through the pines, I got to where I could see in another field, and there he was! I figured where he was headed and got there first! He came in at 40 yds and I let the Xtended Range eat! Scored an even 60.

Another one bites the dust! Heading to Florida tomorrow, maybe I'll get a chance at one on my Dad's place!

You are a turkey killing machine! I've been hanging out with the family at Disney all week. Heading home tomorrow. I did see a nice gobbler today in the resort, I'll post a pic when I can! He was hanging out by the gas station! Gobbled at everything me & my boy said to him!

This guy was laughing at me at the gas station on the way out of Disney. I came up with 18,000 ways to kill him in the 10 minutes it took to get gas and stare at his nasty self!!! : )

Woops, ran off the road

Haven't been able to hunt but one time since I killed my bird. Monday I had a close call, but no ethical shot in some thick stuff and he eased off and I never could get close to him again. Will be at it until the season ends, and hopefully a day or two in Tennessee. Good luck in the final weekend fellas. Doesn't look like we're going to be winning anything considering the rest of our team is MIA.

Good luck Doemaster! This morning he gobbled on the roost four times but never on the ground, came in silent, on my blind spot and I never saw him till I slowly tried to look in the one direction I couldn't see and he was running away! Maybe tomorrow!

Hunted with my best hunting buddy today after school, we heard one Tom gobble 2 times, but he never came to our field. Caught lots of worms and bugs!! And he even found a shed! It was a good hunting trip!

Well, I feel compelled to go try in the morning! I haven't missed a last day since 2011 when we were cleaning up in Tuscaloosa after the storm. If I do any good I'll be back on here bragging!! ; )
