I've had a Stihl for 4 years and never changed the spark plug. I used it for the first time this year and it cranked on the second pull as usual!

Stihl backpack blower.
Stihl hedge trimmer.
Stihl chain saw.

My vote is for Stihl!

My Bolens has lasted about 10 years now. It cranks with no problem...but it dies when I give it gas. I'm assuming the carb needs cleaning but not sure how hard that is to do.

Echo, I've used them all; except for Stihl and Huskies; most kinds are disposable. Echo is reasonably priced and are good for several years. I mow and weed eat around 25 yards and I'm on year 3 with mine.

The very first weed-eater that I ever owned lasted me for 23 years. It was still running when I bought my new one and gave that one away.

Brand? It was a Stihl FS/66.

Know what I'm using now?

Another Stihl...the FS250.

Nuff' said! thumbup

Stihl.

Don't confuse my user name with any sort of alphabet faggotry.

It only stands for drag racing, and Route 66 was my home track back in the day.

Stihl or Husqvarna. I've had both and they do ehat they are supposed to. I'd probably buy a Husqvarna straight shaft if I had to choose today.
