I've had a Stihl for 4 years and never changed the spark plug. I used it for the first time this year and it cranked on the second pull as usual! Stihl backpack blower. Stihl hedge trimmer. Stihl chain saw.
My vote is for Stihl!

The very first weed-eater that I ever owned lasted me for 23 years. It was still running when I bought my new one and gave that one away. Brand? It was a Stihl FS/66. Know what I'm using now? Another Stihl...the FS250. Nuff' said!

Stihl or Husqvarna. I've had both and they do ehat they are supposed to. I'd probably buy a Husqvarna straight shaft if I had to choose today.
